DEMERSITE

Demersite, completed in 2022 and designed by Archipelago, is a new office building of approximately 16,500 m² with spacious underground parking. The building is strategically located along Hasselt's Grote Ring and is partially surrounded by the Demer River. The design focused on user comfort as well as the latest sustainability requirements. Demersite enjoys excellent natural light thanks to its large windows. Demersite also offers maximum flexibility thanks to a design consisting of four large volumes, with individual entrances and a communal plinth. At the center of the building is the reception area with a staircase leading to the conference center with various rooms (for 10 to 200 people) and an adjacent breakout area with a spacious terrace. There is also a cafeteria area on the ground floor of the building.

The office spaces are finished as open-plan offices with, among other things, an EasyKlima climate ceiling, partly in an island structure. This configuration maximizes the free height and feeling of space.  

Demersite is easily accessible thanks to its direct connection to Hasselt's Grote Ring ring road. Hasselt station is 1.7 km from Hasselt station, Quartier Bleu is within walking distance, and the site has a bus stop (Demersite, line 6).
