K2 is comprised of six ideally-located office buildings at the intersection of two main roads, Boulevard Kennedy and Rue Coudenove Calerghi, right in the heart of Kirchberg. The architects’ firm Art &amp; Build, in partnership with Tetra Kayser, was responsible for its design. The idea was to imagine an open, functional and modular environment, with a maximum of natural light, thermal and acoustic comfort, as well as an exceptional view on the outside. Footbridges were installed between the buildings. K2 extends over a 2.5 ha site, half of which is devoted to paths and green spaces. The buildings, which face each other, are embellished with interior gardens offering very quite spaces.

Description

The Kirchberg plateau is the financial heart of Luxembourg, located between the city centre and Luxembourg Airport, near the motorway network leading to Germany, France and Belgium. The European Institutions have chosen this renowned and functional district as the location foto locate their headquarters, as well as many renowned banks and multinational companies. The district has the "Auchan" shopping centre, which offers a wide range of shops in the heart of the district. The city centre and the central station are easily reached by public transport, thanks to the tramway line.
